The Wordsearch Workshop is a small, independently run collection of free web tools for puzzle creators, teachers, and word-game lovers. We build simple, no-signup generators for word search puzzles, crosswords, and word unscrambling — the kind of tools we wished existed when we started publishing our own puzzle books.
Who's behind it
The Wordsearch Workshop was designed and built by a retired public service employee and independent author who now publishes word search and puzzle books for Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP). These tools started as a way to speed up our own puzzle-book production, and grew into a set of free utilities for anyone doing similar work — teachers building classroom worksheets, other indie publishers, or hobbyists who just enjoy making puzzles.
How we build
Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. There's no account to create, no data sent to a server, and no word list or puzzle design stored anywhere but your own device. That's a deliberate choice — we wanted tools that respect your privacy by default, not as an afterthought.
